I tell clients all the time

that it is always about you and never about you. Things happen. Marriages fail. Jobs are lost. We become survivors of painful events that make healing difficult. We are not responsible for everything that happens to us AND we are responsible for making meaning from the life we are living. How we make that meaning depends on how we view the world.

Somewhere along the way, vulnerability became associated with weakness, and we came to believe that if something happened to us when we were vulnerable, that means that WE were weak.


But what if that's all wrong?

Okay, so vulnerability and authenticity can sound scary...depending on how you look at them. We can work together to reframe your thoughts so you can show up more genuinely every day.

sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging authenticity, self compassion, mindfulness, empowering,

practical action and trying

on new perspectives.

At your visit, we will spend time getting to know one another, talk about what led you to seek support and figure out where we need to go next.
